In humble submission to the will of God, we announce the earthly transition of Raoul C. Smith on October 19, 2026.

Raoul was preceded in death by his parents; Robert Smith, Jr. and Dorothy Tophia Smit; his brothers, Walter C. Adams, Sr, (Audrey Adams), Donald Smith (Edna Smith), Laverne C. Smith (Barbara Smith), Albert Smith (Lucille Smith) & Charles Smith.

Raoul is survived by three loving children: Racquel N. Brookins (Jarrard Brookins) Karlos J. Smith, and Razeik Levy; a loving grandfather to Sade Dennard, N’Quel Bonner, Jarrard Brookins, II, Nevaeh Smith, Zaila Sanders, Rayah Levy, Josiah Levy, Jayah Levy; and a great-grandchild, Amina Wade; his three brothers, Frederick D. Smith (Hilda Smith), Robert Smith, III, (Sandra Smith), Leonard Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades." Revelation 14:13

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8
