In humble submission to the will of God, we announce the earthly transition of Ronald D. Taylor on February 25, 2026.

He was a member of St. Paul AME Church. He was employed by the City of Jacksonville where he retired with 20 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife, Joyce E. Clark Taylor; son, Rico Taylor; grandchildren, Syteria Tylor, Rico Taylor, Jr., Andrea Taylor, Caleb Taylor; siblings, Darnell Blount, Larry Wayne Holliman, Bridgett Holliman, Sandra Anderson, Aurora Jennings, Tomeshia Eastern; nephews, Larry Davis (LaTarsha), Troy Davis (Lara); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held the day of service until the hour of service. The celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 12:00PM in the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel. The final disposition will be memorialization by cremation.

In the time of personal loss, the beloved family has elected to locally entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with transitional after-care arrangements to Holmes-Glover-Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc.
