In humble submission to the will of God, we announce the earthly transition of Shirley Sawyer on January 21, 2025. A memorial tribute for Shirley Sawyer will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 12:00 noon from the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel (4334 Brentwood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32206).  In the time of personal loss, the beloved family has elected to locally entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with transitional after-care arrangements to Holmes-Glover-Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc.
