Funeral service for Arthur Cooper, Sr. will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11:00AM in the Greater Israel United Missionary Baptist Church, where he held membership and served as a deacon. He was employed by Holmes Lumber Company and retired with 20 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his spouse, Marie Cooper; children, Tammy Calhoun and Monica Adesanya; grandchildren, Armon Cooper, Drius, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jasmine, Marvin, Anya, Noah; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Tempest, Sory, Markell, Darius Jr., Alyah, Terrence, Kaylee;brothers: Larry Cooper, John Milledge, EuGene Milledge, sisters:  Judy Yawson, Shirley Milledge, Mamie Williams (Andre), Rose Mary Toliver, Carolyn Milledge; special and devoted niece, Tonya Anderson; special in-law, Monica King; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held in the mortuary on Thursday, March 16, from 4:00PM-7:00PM. Interment will be held in the Restlawn Cemeteries - North.
