A memorial service for Mr. Calvin Johnson will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel (4334 Brentwood Avenue).

Calvin Johnson was born May 23, 1951, to Jerry Johnson and Eva Baggs.  He attended Mathew Gilbert.  He later married Ruth Pryor and was employed by Hugh Cotney Tire Company.

Calvin was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, parents, Jerry Johnson and Eva Baggs, siblings, Jerrylene, Gwen, Bill, Fushari, Patricia, Earline, Joanne, Jose, Ann, Yolanda, Delia, Loretta, Jerry, Jr., and Queen, He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Calvin, Jr, Anthony Sr., Robert, and Mr. Michael (Sue), grandchildren, Anthony, Jr. and Kyrie Johnson, great-grandchild, Kiya Johnson, brothers, Lenny and James, sisters, Elaine, Patsy (Peter) and Lucy, a host of other relatives and friends.
