A Celebration of life service for Ms. Charlie Mae Brantley will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 12:00PM in the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel at 4334 Brentwood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32206. The final disposition will be cremation.
Ms. Charlie Mae Brantley was born on November 26, 1929, in Albany, GA to Ms. Josephine Brantley. She attended a public school in Albany Georgia. She moved to Miami, FL at an early age and worked there until she relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 1961. She was employed by Baptist Hospital and then she went to St. Vincent Medical Center until she retired at the age of 26 years of service. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for many years where she served on District 3 Usher Board. She enjoyed cooking and being with her children and grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her mother; Josephine Brantley, Sisters: Bertha Mae Johnson, Eva Lee Bryant, Brother: Anthony Washington, Daughter: Kathryn Gonzalez, Grandson: Craig Brantley, Jon Kester, Granddaughter: Blake Morgan Bellamy, Favorite cousin: James Porter.
She leaves to morn; Three Daughters: Jerry Brantley, Lindell Martinez, Josephine Miller, One Son: Billy Miller, Grandchildren: Cunard Brantley (Kim), Ronnie Kester, Jr. (Mary), Maurice Martinez (Mayra) Matisha Miller, Latasha Brantley, Anacelia Kester, Lamar Miller, David Mitchell. Great Grands: Keeyna Brantley, DeQuan Brantley, Donnavin Lane, Jerad Bellamy, Andre Wilson, Cunard Brantley II, Walter Harris, Deven Harris, Kinndi Martinez, Shambria Simmons, Dante Smith, Ronnie Kester III, David Mitchell, Jr. Chace Mitchell, Jaki Mitchell, Darren Miller, Kaleb Wilson, Karter Wilson, Bella Brantley, Jakari Hartley, Milton, McArthur, Micah Cannon, Jr. Brielle, Damani, Lyric, Da'King, Demi, De'Quan II, A'Nate, Nuri, Ja'Quorion, Loyalty, Taysia and D'Siyah. Six great-great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
