On Wednesday, March 30
th
at 11:15 PM our Beloved Mother Daisy Elizabeth Johnson Passed. We Never Took for Granted how Blessed we were to have my Mother on this planet for 93 Years. We truly want her Homegoing to be a Celebration and as she said "Why are you Crying, I'm Okay." She Truly was looking forward to going "Home" and Joining our Ancestors.
Each day is different, but our Goal is to Honor Her Life the Way She Lived it and that is with Love and Joy. The Service will be:
Saturday, April 9

There will be one viewing opportunity on Friday, April 8

from 4 PM until 7 PM. The viewing will be at:
Holmes, Glover, and Solomon Funeral Home

The Episcopal Church has a Beautiful Tradition during funeral services. When the casket is brought into the church, it is covered with a "Pall". The Pall represents that Everyone is Equal Before God. Therefore, there are No Flowers brought into the church (and the only flowers are the ones on the Alter). Wow, how Beautiful and Respectful.
Therefore, I know many of you want to do something to show your Love and Respect for Our Mother. I truly understand. The Best Way to do that would be, To Do as She Did and that is to Give Love to Others. My Mother is fine; she is at peace, but it would be in her light and spirit if we did just a little something that could make a difference in someone's life.
There are Two Amazing Churches that do So much for Their Communities. Any Donations to them would make a real difference. The First is the Church of our Family Pastor/Bishop the "Church of God Sanctuary of Praise."
