In humble submission to the will of God, we announce the earthly transition of Eugene Shaw, Jr. on October 28, 2025.

The visitation will be held in the mortuary on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 4:00PM-7:00PM. The celebration of life be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:30AM in the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel (4334 Brentwood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32206). The final disposition of burial will be held at 2:00 in the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218).

In the time of personal loss, the beloved family has elected to locally entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with transitional after-care arrangements to Holmes-Glover-Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc.
