Boone--Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Marion Boone will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Dayspring Baptist Church (5654 Dunn Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32218) where she held membership, Dr. Jeffrey Rumlin, pastor.  She was employed by Duval County Public Schools, retiring after 25 years of service.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Thomas Boone, children, Daryl Scott (Ute), Nicole Boone, Tiffany Boone and Laymond Hill (Joyce), grandchildren, Martika Carpenter (Theo), Micah LeCount and Chaka Wright, great-grandchildren, Arianna Carpenter and Aniyah Carpenter, brothers, Julius Everett, Jr, Levine Everett (Deborah) and Gregory Everett (Nika) sisters, Vivian McLaughlin, Evelyn Hackley and Juanita McDonald, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  The visitation will be held in the mortuary on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 2:00PM-5:00PM. Interment will be held in the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218), Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10:30 AM.  At this time of personal loss, the beloved family has elected to locally entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with transitional after-care arrangements to Holmes-Glover-Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc.
