Funeral service for Mr. James W. Thomas will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 10:00AM in the Paxon Revival Church where he held membership, Pastor Steve Dobbs, officiating.  He was employed by Walder Bugbee Company where he retired after 35 years of dedicated service.  He is survived by his loving children, Owita Thompson (Harold), Joyce Thomas, and Larry Thomas; grandchildren, April Thompson-Williams, Alicia Jones (Patrick), Alana Thompson, Melanie Jackson, Martin Atkins; great grandchildren, Kiara Thompson, Aaliyah Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Dontae Thompson, Journey Jackson, Sage Jackson, Imoni Jackson; brother-in-law, Henry Bell; and a host of other relatives and friends.  Mr. Thomas will rest in the mortuary for the visitation of family and friends on Wednesday, May 11, from 4:00PM-7:00PM. Interment will be in the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 9:30AM.
