Funeral service for Mr. Johnie Wesley Harriel will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11:00AM in thePhilippi Missionary Baptist Church, 9232 Gibson Avenue. Jacksonville, Florida 32244. Visitation is held in mortuary on Friday, October 29, 4:00PM-7:00PM. Mr. Harriel retired from Great Lakes Dredge and Dock (Union local 25) after over 40 years of service. Johnie has joined his late wife, Shirley, in eternal peace and love. Mr. Harriel is survived by their children, Cheryl (Reginald), Lisa, Shannon, and Marcella (Randy); grandchildren, Delvin (Kenya), Alquan 'Al', Luisa, Jhonnathan (Gloria), Tianna, Shantelle, Christopher and Brianna; great-grandchildren, Ta'Shaun, Delvin Jr., KeyShawn, Jalen, Kaya, Ramsey, and Kameron; siblings, Henry (Essie), William 'Binky' (Peggy), Gefora, Isiah 'Ronald', Fredrick (Barbara), and Leonard 'Lenny'. Johnie will be remembered by a host of many more relatives and friends.
