In humble submission to the will of God, we announce the earthly transition of Marilyn J. Peoples on October 24, 2024. Final arrangements are pending at this time.

She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church of Jacksonville. She was employed by Brewster Hospital with many years of dedicated service.

She is survived by her loving grandson, Willie J. Johnson; siblings, Cors Clinton (Kenneth) of Hazelhurst, GA, Annie R. Clinton of Savannah, GA, Elnora Beard of Orlando, FL, Edward Wright (Jackie) of Jacksonville, FL, Artis Wright (Vivian) of Lumber City, GA, Earl Wright of Baxley GA, Kenneth Wright (Simikia) Baxley, GA; and a host of special niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation for friends of the family will be held in the mortuary on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 2:00PM-5:00PM. The celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2:00PM in the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel. The final disposition of burial will be held in Edgewood Cemetery.
