A celebration of life for Queenie Elizabeth Degraffread Gadson will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00AM in The Awakening Power of God's Word Ministries, where she held membership. She was employed by the Duval County Public School Board. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Anthony Dozier; sister, Lela Bell. Queenie leaves memories to be cherished by her husband, Gilbert W. Gadson; children, Kenyetta Yeartie (Corey), Dominique Polite, and Latoya Degraffread; grandchildren, Ta'tyana Yeartie, Abryona Yeartie, Timothy Walker, Oriyana Polite, Tyquanna Washington, Adrian Yeartie, Kayla Polite, Landier Austin Jr.; great-grandchildren, Abriell Mesidor, A'raya Gray, Aloura Mesidor; siblings, Bruindal Hampton, Annie McDaniels, Charlotte Stephens, Viola Lewis, Will Degraffread; and a host of other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held in the mortuary on Friday, November 24, from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
