Celebration of life for Mr. Ralph Young will be held May 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Historic Mt. Zion AME Church (201 E. Beaver St., Jacksonville, FL 32202), Dr. Victor D. Cole, Pastor, officiating.  Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the service.  Visitation will be held in the mortuary on Friday, May 3, from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM.

Mr. Ralph Young was born September 15, 1950, in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was employed by the United States Government, Maritime.  He retired after 30 years of dedicated service.  He was a member of the Historic Mt. Zion AME Church for over 40 years where he served on the Son of Allen Usher Board.

Mr. Young was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Arthur Young (Annette), Lauriel Young, Betty Jean White (John), Ida Turner (Cornelius) and Emma Williams (Zachary), loving children, TaSheka R. Young.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife, Olivia A. Young; son, Alphonso Young (Debra); grandchildren, Bursey J. Armstrong, Bailey M. Armstrong, Khalil Young and Dominik Young; brothers, Walter Young, James Young (Barbara) and George Young (Phyllis), a host of in-laws, other relatives and friends.
