In humble submission to the will of God, we announce the earthly transition of Richard C. Williams on August 8, 2026.

He was a member of New Life Community United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Lamont A. Hogan, Sr. He was employed by Jacksonville Transit Authority.

The visitation will be held in the mortuary on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 4:00PM - 7:00PM. The celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00AM in the New Life Community United Methodist Church. Memorialization by cremation. Inurnment in the Jacksonville National Cemetery.

In the time of personal loss, the beloved family has elected to locally entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with transitional after-care arrangements to Holmes-Glover-Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc.
