A celebration of life honoring the legacy of Mr. Richard Powell will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 12:30PM in the Jacksonville National Cemetery. He was retired from his service in the United States Navy where he served his country for 20 years. He leaves memories to be cherished by his daughter, Andrea Powell; siblings, Johnny James Powell, Jr., Wanda F. Powell, LaTanga M. Powell, Antonio Powell, Charles Powell, Kelvin L. Powell, Zenada L. Powell, Karen L. Powell and Linda Powell-Jones; Richard Washington (Doris), Bruce Kennerly (Elaine); nephews, Michael Powell and Robert "Bobby" Powell; nieces, Shequeta Powell, Shenisha Williams; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
