Funeral service for Sherman Jackson will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 5:00PM in the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held in the mortuary on Wednesday, March 1, from 2:00PM-5:00PM. Memorialization by cremation.

He was a member of Israel United in Christ Church. He was employed by the United States Navy and the Kings Bay Naval Base and retired after 40 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wakkuna Jackson; and son, Cedric Jackson. Sherman leaves memories to be cherished by his wife, Teresita Jackson; children, Tracy Jackson, Shenka Jackson, Lisa Paschal; grandchildren, Christopher "CJ" Jackson, Donte Shields, Cameron Shields, Kyree Coleman, Keamon Coleman; great-granddaughter, Gihanna Perry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
