In humble submission to will of God we announce the earthly transition of Shirley Ann Harvell. Mrs. Harvell will lay in repose in the mortuary on Sunday, July 14, 2024, for visitation from 2:00PM-5:00PM. The Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 15, 2024, at 11:30 AM in the First New Zion Missionary Baptist Church 4835 Soutel Drive, where she held membership, Pastor James Sampson, officiant. The interment will be held in the Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:30PM.

Mrs. Harvell was preceded in death by her grandson, Carlton Rogers, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Linda Davis, Geraldine, and Rose.

She leaves memories to be cherished by her husband of 49 years, Ernest Harvell; children, Timothy Davis, Sylvia Meeks (Alonzo), and Nichol Rogers (Carlton); grandchildren, Crystal Harvell, Alonzo Meeks, Jr. (Deniesheia), Santisha Meeks, Latece Meeks, Carnisha Roger; siblings, Reverend Jerome Davis (Misty) of Glennville, GA; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Harvell (Kenny), Gwendolyn McBride (Henry); brothers-in-law, Willie Harvell (Francena), Michael Harvell (Cynthia), Willie Virgil Harvel, Dave Davis; and a host of other relatives, church family, and many friends.
