Funeral service for Walter J. White will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00AM in the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel, Bishop Virgil Jones, officiating. He was a member of Philippian Community Church where he served as a Deacon and on the Security Team. He was employed by Student Transportation of Florida. He is survived by his wife, Janet White; children, Eugene Lester, Walter Holt and James White; grandchildren, Whitney Lester, Imani, Ava and Angel Holt; great-grandson, Kash Holt; siblings, Johnny Moses, Sharon Lewis, Barbara Boyer, Joyce White; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held in the mortuary on Tuesday, September 21, from 2:00PM-5:00PM. Interment will be held in the Restlawn South Cemetery.
