A service celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. William Lewis Cody, Sr. will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 12:00PM in The Bethel Church, where he was a faithful member for many years under the leadership of Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr., Pastor, and Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Sr., Pastor Emeritus. Dr. Cody will lay in state in the sanctuary of the church where the family will receive guest for the visitation on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 5:00PM-8:00PM. The interment will be held in the Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Cemetery. In addition to floral tributes, donation to The William and Betty Cody Foundation are accepted in his honor.
