A celebration of life for Mr. William Green will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM in The Bethel Baptist Institutional Church (215 Bethel Baptist St., Jacksonville, FL 32202).  Interment will be held in the Edgewood Cemetery (4519 Edgewood Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32219).  Visitation will be held in the mortuary on Wednesday, May 1, from 5:00PM-7:00PM.

William Green, born August 14, 1938, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on April
27, 2024. William, a devoted husband to Deloris Green, cherished father to Eric B. Green (April), Cheryl,
Angela (deceased) and adored grandfather to thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Throughout his 35-year career at UPS, William exhibited unwavering dedication and commitment,
leaving an indelible mark on the company and the lives of those he worked alongside. His
professionalism and passion for his work were evident to all who knew him.

William's legacy extends far beyond his professional achievements; he will be remembered for his
kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will continue to be cherished by
his wife, son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
