Funeral service for Willie Moore, Sr. will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00AM in the Rosa Glover Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held in the mortuary on Wednesday, September 29, from 2:00PM-5:00PM. Internment will be held in the Jacksonville National Cemetery.  He was born in Dawson, Georgia on August 27, 1940 to Emma Wright and Robert Moore. He served faithfully in the U.S. Army and was united in Holy Matrimony to Nannie Lee in 1959. Frank Moore retired from the Jacksonville Shipyards and worked diligently as an Automotive Mechanic saving many family and friends costly repairs. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Marvin Leon Moore; his only daughter, Mavis Moore Patterson; four brothers and a sister. Left to cherish his memory are five sons, Willie Frank Jr., Preniss, Alexander (Demetri), Howard and Nathaniel; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Emma Lou; and a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends; among them John, Joe, Doretha, Erika and the willing workers crew.
